The other day I completed an accomplishment that’s been sitting in my brain for about a year.
I knit a cat hat.
My cat is clearly in love with it.
I’ve been planning this for awhile. Actually, truth be told I like the look of crocheted cat hats much better. Buuut, I’m just sticking with what I know for now. Maybe one day.
Well anyways. I was reading this e-book called Cats in Hats: 30 Knit and Crochet Patterns for Your Kitty, by Sara Thomas.
First off, do I recommend it? Yes I do. Its cute, its funny and the patterns seem easy enough to follow.
But did my cat truly adore it? Eh. Somewhat. It wasn’t like, love at first sight. But more like, “Tolerable. But not handsome enough to tempt me”.
It was fun learning how to make a new knit creation. And learning a few new knitting techniques. And the end result gave us a good laugh!
Have you ever
made I mean let your cat wear a knit or crocheted hat? Or dressed them up in a little outfit? (And if so, I have to ask, did your cat enjoy it??)
Happy Caturday! And a purr-y, furry Merry Christmas to you and your feline friend(s)!
